With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Richard Wood of Urbana, Missouri, born in Patuxent River, Maryland, who passed away on July 18, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Wood and Allene C. Wood (Powell). He is survived by: his wife Caroline Harp; his daughter Wendy Wood of Preston, MO; his grandchildren, Maci Senat of Centralia, WA, Madison Wood of Springfield, MO and Maegan Wood (Jeremy Carkhuff); his great grandchildren, Jericho Johnson, Odette Senat, Celine Senat and Emmeline Senat; and his siblings, Glen Wood (Robert Wagner) and Martha Berlin (Gary Ackerman). He is also survived by other family members and many friends.
