He is survived by: his son John Paul Wirsig; his daughter-in-law Jamie Michelle Wirsig; his grandsons, Robenton "Ben" Armand Wirsig (Paityn), Hyden Parker Wirsig (Kayla) and Reagan Delon Wirsig; his siblings, Richard Wirsig, Sharon Wirsig and Linda Wirsig; his niece Joanna Beth Holt; and his friend Jimmy Phillips. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri (314 W Jefferson St, Clinton, MO 64735). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Family suggest memorial contributions be made to Deepwater Labor Day Harvest Picnic and may be left in care of funeral home.
