He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lamar Harris and Hope Harris (Lucas); Hope Harris (Lucas). He is survived by: his wife Laura Jean Harris of Valles Mines, Missouri; his stepchildren, Brian Jinkens (Jamie) of Dittmer and Alyssa Jinkens (C. A. Barks) of Vichy, Missouri; his siblings, Randy Harris of Greenville, Mississippi, Noel Harris of Greenville, Mississippi and Wanda Borganelli of Pensacola, Florida; and his grandsons, Rhett and Knox. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jimmy's memory to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Tunnel to Towers Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shriners Hospitals for Children, or the ASPCA.
