He is survived by: his siblings, Dick Kerkvliet, Deb Jacobsma (Jake), Denise Wasko (Jim), Ann Parkinson (Don) and Lynn Bartscher (Ed); his sister-in-law Nancy Kerkvliet-Reinke; his daughter Martha Gibbs; his grandsons, Kenneth Gibbs III (Brittnee), Matthew Gibbs and Jacob Vanhoozier; and his great grandchildren, Alex, Xavier, Emmett and Weston Gibbs.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the McSpadden Funeral Home - Van Buren (106 Ash St, Van Buren, MO 63965). A prayer will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Van Buren City Cemetery.

Dale will be lovingly remembered by his surviving siblings: Dick Kerkvliet, Deb (Jake) Jacobsma, Denise (Jim) Wasko, Ann (Don) Parkinson, Lynn (Ed) Bartscher, along with sister-in-law Nancy Kerkvliet-Reinke.
