He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Pickerill and Charles Pickerill; and his siblings, Pat (late Jim), Bob (Judy) and Bert (Connie).
He is survived by: his brother Roy (Janet); his wife Barb; and his daughters, Jodie Shemwell (Jason) and Terrie Pickerill (Bill Fuhry). He is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his sister and brothers; many nieces and nephews; three dogs, and many friends.
