It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sovonna Rea Duff of Van Buren, Missouri, born in Dexter, Missouri, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyal Duffie and Margie Rea Duffie (Darter); her son John David Chadwell; and her siblings, David Duffie and Cheryl Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Chadwell (Brandye) of Piggott, AR and Melissa White (Jeff) of Poplar Bluff, MO; her siblings, Chris Darter, Patty Burke (Ray) and Loyenna Burke; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Chadwell (Lori), Cara Mann (Kyle), Bryar White (Madyson), Cortney White, Hannah Chadwell and Justice Chadwell. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McSpadden Funeral Home (106 Ash St, Van Buren, MO 63965). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McSpadden Funeral Home Chapel (106 Ash St, Van Buren, MO 63965).
