She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd Barnes and Annie Barnes (Kelly); her parents-in-law, Otis Sherwood Largent and Mable Eskew; her sister Dorothy Stuart (JR); and her siblings-in-law, Wilma Barnes, Charles Largent, Bill Largent (Otis), Gene Largent, Jr., Gene Eskew and Jim Howdeshell.
She is survived by: her daughter Tara LeeAnn Lewis (Brent Lewis); her son-in-law Brent; her in-laws, Lane and Will; her brother Buford Barnes; and her sisters-in-law, Virginia Howdeshell, Mary Helen Eskew, Dorothy Largent, Barbara Hawkinson (Marion), Barbara Largent, Cathy Largent and Dorothy Reichardt.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bienhoff Funeral Homes (100 N Gaslight Rd, Vandalia, MO 63382). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the Vandalia Historical Society (VAHS) flower fund.
