He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Joy and Juanita Joy (Barker); his mother-in-law Cecil A. (Ethel Pew); and his great grandchild Daniela Pfaff. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Pew; his daughters, Sheryl Bartholomew (Kelly) of Atkinson, KS and Lori Burns (Randy) of Vandalia, MO; his siblings, Jerry Joy (Laura), Judy Carney (Bob) and Ginger Gosling (Ron); his grandchildren, Kaci Pfaff (Jon), Bradley Burns (Paige), Sophia Percivel (Dillon) and Micah Bartholomew; and his great grandchildren, Lila-Ann, Lucas, Brooklynn and Cooper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Waters Funeral Home (500 S Main St, Vandalia, MO 63382). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at the Vandalia Cemetery (43790 Audrain Rd 572, Vandalia, MO 63382).
