With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marlene Nation of Vandalia, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Marlene left this world on November 6, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, John E Hitz and Emma Elizabeth Righter Hitz; her husband Don Nation; her siblings, Walter Hitz and Anna Hill; and her great grandchild Gabriel Becker.
She is survived by: her children, Warren Dale, Julie Gayle, Jolene Sue and Wesley Dean; her grandchildren, Nicole, Haley, Michael, David, Megan, Jeramiah, Emma and Grace; and her sister Betty Fischer.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bienhoff Funeral Homes (100 N Gaslight Rd, Vandalia, MO 63382). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
