Though Rosie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rosie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Luckett and Stella Luckett (Holcomb); her husband Orval Mefford; her daughter Paula Tolar; and her son-in-law Ron Leake.
She is survived by: her children, Wilma Leake of Monroe City, MO, Cindy Kohl of Vandalia, MO and Dan Mefford (Evone) of Vandalia, MO; and her son-in-law Harold Tolar of Louisiana, MO. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
