It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Don Austin Neill of Verona, Missouri, who passed away on September 19, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Don may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Don touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Neill and Juanita Neill (Dodson); and his sister Bernadine Neill. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Tony Neill (DeOwna) of Crane, Missouri and Becky Wilson (Terry) of Verona, Missouri; and his brother Lee Neill (Darline) of Purdy, Missouri. He is also survived by four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home (216 2nd St, Monett, MO 65708). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations in Don's memory may be made to the Easyville Church.
