Floyd Vernon Carr Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Floyd Vernon Carr of Verona, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 14, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Floyd Vernon Carr to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Carr and Lula Carr; and his siblings, Richard, Robert, Howard Carr, Jimmy Branham and Judy Weathermon.
He is survived by: his wife Marion Carr; his children, Tammy Taylor (Jason) and Christopher Carr (Angela); his grandchildren, Corey Taylor (Melissa), Samuel Taylor (Chloe), Sarah Salgado (Eddy), Rebekah Salgado (Jorge), Melody Chadis (Izaah), Austin Carr (Kyilee), Justin Carr (ToriAnnette), Katlin Carr and Ashlin Carr; and his siblings, June Fritz and Randy Branham. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peterson Funeral Chapel (229 W Church St, Aurora, MO 65605). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Donny and Suzy Briscoe, African missionaries whom Floyd faithfully supported for many years and whose work he was deeply passionate about, at PO Box 245, Aurora, MO 65605.
