He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Deatherage and Ruby Jean Deatherage; his sisters, Jeanine Deatherage and Debbie Walsh; and his parents-in-law, Lawrence Bellm (Buster) and Louise Bellm.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Bellm; his son Clint (Peyton); his daughter-in-law Peyton; his grandchildren, Sage and Finley Deatherage; his sister Connie Blake (Clair); and his siblings-in-law, Mike Walsh, Kathy Heidlage (John), Rick Bellm (Carol), Dennis Bellm (Neina), Patty Osterloh (Tim), Greg Bellm (Joyce) and Stephanie Heman (Bruce). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (22383 Lawrence 1180, Verona, MO 65769). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made, in George's memory, to Holy Trinity Catholic Church or St. Jude's Children's Hospital in care of the funeral home.
