He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys Nell Braden; his son Harold "Sonny" Vaughan Jr.; and his great grandchild Jacob Rider. He is survived by: his children, Gladys (Kenneth Baker), Wanda Sue Lewis of Stover and James (Margaret Vaughan); and his daughter-in-law Jackie Vaughan of Wentzville.
