In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Billy leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Billy may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his mother Ella Long (Seaton); his brother Michael Long; his brother-in-law David Webb; his nephew Matthew Gelven; and his great-nephew Eric Webb.
He is survived by: his father Vernon Long; and his siblings, Jim Long (Ann) of Springfield, MO, Janet Dickneite (Ted) of Freeburg, MO, Caroline Cooley (Lonnie) of Taos, MO, Dorothy Webb of New Bloomfield, MO and Susan Hood (Greg) of Holts Summit, MO.. He is also survived by six nieces, seven nephews, numerous great-nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vienna United Methodist Church (1102 US-63, Vienna, MO 65582). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
