He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Ovid and Jessie Jewel Rowden (McKee); his wife Jane; his sons, Michael Rowden and Bruce Rowden; his grandchildren, Timothy Lee Rowden, Travis Perkins and Melissa Kay Slone; his children-in-law, Alice Rowden and Harold Blackwell; his siblings, Harold Rowden, Dorris Finn and Jean Vaughan; and his siblings-in-law, Victor Vaughan, Joe Finn, John Veasman and Launa Rowden.
He is survived by: his children, Ronnie "Ron" Rowden (Elizabeth) of Vienna, Donald "Donnie" Rowden (Peggy) of Dixon, Dennis Rowden (Dot) of Vienna, Bryan Rowden (Wilma) of Meta, Doug Rowden (Rose Mary) of Brinktown, Roger Rowden (Amy) of Vienna, Marilyn Blackwell of Pocahontas, Judy Slone (Mike) of Dixon and Brenda Rollins of Dixon; his siblings, Wilburn Rowden of Holts Summit and Carol Ann Miller (Lewis) of Dixon; and his siblings-in-law, Donley Veasman (Charlotte) of Dixon, Lois Rowden of Meta, Bernice Veasman of Brinktown and Agnes Wilson of St. Louis. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren.
