She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick Mantels; her sons, Leo, Mitchell and William Mantels; her parents, Leo and Elda; her parents-in-law, Eugene and Birdie; her brothers, Victor, Clarence, August, Leo and Jimmy Herbst; and her sister-in-law Barbara Mantels.
She is survived by: her children, Cherri Burke (Rick) of Bourbon and Lynde Mantels of Villa Ridge; her grandchildren, Sha'Rona Daegele, Sheena Norman (Fred Engamen), Shawn Norman (Mickala), Lynde Mantels II (Jordan), Angela Fletcher (Ryan) and Andrew Burke (Chelsea); her great grandchildren, Colton, Camara Daegele, Lyric Fendler, Kalina Engamen, Harper, Hallie Norman, Gavin, Grace Mantels, Brooks, Winnie Fletcher, Caroline and Bode Burke; and her sisters-in-law, Diane Herbst, Fener Herbst and Pat Herbst of Washington. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John the Baptist Church.
