He was predeceased by: his father Henry William Luedde; his former wife Helen Puffer Luedde; his mother Elisabeth Howell Luedde; his brother Charles E. Howell Luedde; his sister-in-law Jane R. S. Luedde; his son-in-law Shamus Mayes; his grandchildren, Thomas William Wingfield and Mynda Hamer; and his great grandchild Leo Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Susan "Sue" A Luedde; his daughters, Vera Mayes, Beth Bailey (Jeff), Vicki Evans, Caroline Hamer (Tom), Dorothy Breuer, Susan Ida Luedde, Becki Whetsel (Devin) and Kate McMillan (Todd); his grandchildren, Amy (Ryan), Alex (Zach), Ryan (Whitney), Gregg, Nick (Jess), Cindi (Josh), Jessica, Megan, Jade and Oliver; and his nephews, Heath (Jessica) and Chal (Lisa). He is also survived by family members and friends.
