He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Wheeler and Ruth Smith; his wife Betty Cox; and his son Jerry Wheeler. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Schafroth-Moore of Colorado, Jimmy Dale Wheeler of Colorado and Tammy Kaylor of Walker, Missouri. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
