George L. Looney Obituary
We bid farewell to George L. Looney of Walnut Grove, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 21, 2025 at the age of 93. George touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Brant Looney and Josephine Looney; his brother Brant C. Looney; and his wife Janice Looney. He is survived by: his daughter Joyce Craig (Steve); his stepdaughter Gayle Coulter McDaniel (Doug); his grandsons, Allan Craig (Kara), Glenn Craig and Evan Bovee (Casey); his great grandchildren, Kylie, Piper, Paige Craig, Wren Bovee and Asher Bovee; and his sister Jo Laine McClure. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home (612 N Washington St, Walnut Grove, MO 65770). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at the Greene Lawn Cemetery (10940 N Farm Rd 43, Walnut Grove, MO 65770).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to First Christian Church of Walnut Grove.
