It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James A. Gardner Jr. of Walnut Grove, Missouri, who passed away on April 23, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alvin and Lyila Gardner Sr. (Eusler); his wife Vera Gardner; his son Daniel Gardner; and his brother Billy Gene Gardner.
He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Edie (Mansel); his grandchildren, Kenneth Gardner (Shelly), Michael Cooksey, Michelle Inglett (Scott), Quintin Edie and Joe Kay; and his great grandchildren, Hunter Gardner, Tyler Inglett (Brooklyn), Alyssa Taylor (Jesse) and Alec Inglett (Kaylee). He is also survived by 6 great-great grandchild; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Jim's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and may be left at the funeral home.
