She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Treadway and Ruby Treadway (Tillman); her husband Jessie Small; and her former husbands, Charles Palmer and Paul Monroe.
She is survived by: her daughter Kay Palmer Hoskins. She is also survived by four stepchildren; and many grandchildren.
