He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hampton and Hazel Hampton (Schweain). He is survived by: his children, Shannon Hampton, Steven Hampton and Anthony Gillum; his grandchildren, Taylor, Wyatt, Hannah, Brice, Abigail and Lucy; and his brother Jerry Hampton.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services (1100 Iron Bridge Rd, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901).
