She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Owens and Ethel Owens; her husband Leon "Crack" Curtis; her sisters, Aletha Ray and Geraldine Terrell; her brothers-in-law, Phillip Ray and Ralph Terrell; and her nephews, Terry and Chris Terrell.
She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Jo Tarver; her son-in-law Roger Tarver of Wardell; her sister-in-law Jean Curtis of Tupelo, Mississippi; her granddaughter Amy Walker of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and her great grandchildren, Landen and Logan Walker of Jonesboro, Arkansas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and a multitude of friends.
