Jerry David Bullock Obituary
Jerry David Bullock, age 76, of Wardell, Missouri passed away on August 8, 2026 at his home. He was born on March 24, 1950 in Kennett, Missouri to Porter and Jessie (Lipsey) Bullock. Jerry was a member of Central Church of Christ in Caruthersville, Missouri.
Jerry was a farmer by heart. He was one of many farmers who participated in the American Agriculture Movement and drove his tractor to Washington DC. Most of all Jerry loved his family. Spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great granddaughter was his world. He was on the North Pemiscot school board for 26 years. He loved attending the yearly Lipsey family reunion, where he visited with his uncles, aunts, and many cousins. He enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals baseball games and Dallas Cowboys football games. He loved fishing with Mason and Marshall and listening to all their thoughts about fishing, baseball stats (they know them all).
Survivors include; loving wife: Patty Bullock of the home; five children: Nathan Bullock (Simon) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Betsy Brown (Matt) of Wardell, Missouri, Jim Bruner (Joy) of Kansas City, Missouri, Stephanie Atkins of Wardell, Missouri, Sydney Luye (Phillip) of Wardell, Missouri; eight grandchildren: Mason Brown, Marshall Brown, Brooke Bruner, Ian Bruner, Tim Bruner, Jersey Luye, Pippa Luye, Clayton Atkins; one great granddaughter: Amryn Joy Bruner; and a host of other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by; his parents: Porter and Jessie (Lipsey) Bullock; three brothers: Jimmy Bullock, Thomas Bullock, Denny Bullock; and one sister: Carolyn Bullock Baynes.
Jerry said he wanted to say one more thing –. His deep appreciation to all the VNA Associates for all their support and services given to him and his family.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at Central Church of Christ in Caruthersville, Missouri with Jon Pruiett officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville, Missouri under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
Those to serve as pallbearers will be Nathan Bullock, Jim Bruner, Matt Brown, Paul Sheckell, Ian Bruner, Jordan Kehrer. Honorary pallbearers will be Mason Brown and Marshall Brown.
