She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Vincent and Ruby Adeline Helphrey (Best); her husband Robert Leroy Smith; her grandson Scott Smith; her son-in-law Bob Garrow; and her brother-in-law John Graham.
She is survived by: her children, Stan Smith (Pam) of Warrensburg, Steven Smith of Warrensburg, Susan Garrow of Warrensburg, Bruce Smith (Susan) of Warrensburg and Greg Smith (Brandi Fischer); her grandchildren, Stacy Smith (Jennifer) of Spring Hill, KS, Spencer Smith (Brianne), Becky Smith, Lenzee Hernandez (Edgar), Rob Garrow (Krissy), Liberty, Matthew Pruitt (Stephani), Jeremy Smith (Haven) of Lincoln, NE and Miranda Smith (Grant Smith); Beverly Graham of Prescott, AZ.. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Williams Funeral Chapel (1400 S Maguire St, Warrensburg, MO 64093). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Carolyn's name to the Warrensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
