With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Nielsen (Warrensburg, Missouri), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 27, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon R. Nielsen and Karen E. Nielsen; his brothers, Robert Nielsen, Stewart Nielsen and Daniel Nielsen; his daughter Emily R. Nielsen; his parents-in-law, Radell Hunt and Kay Hunt; and his brother-in-law Steven R. Hunt.
He is survived by: his siblings, Alan Nielsen (Tammy), Andy Nielsen (Kristine) and Marylea Lockard (Rick); his sister-in-law Kimberlee Phipps (Darrell); his close friend Rebecca K. Nielsen (Hunt); his children, Nicholas D. Nielsen (Ilana), Matthew R. Nielsen (Candace) and Ty D. Nielsen; and his grandchildren, Akynna, Deneka, Gage, Grayson, Kenleigh, Paxton, Savannah and Adalyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
