We are sad to announce that on May 28, 2025, at the age of 62, Donald Eugene Johnston of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary Paul and Judith Day Johnston (Ussery); his daughter Stephanie Johnston; and his siblings, Patrcia Johnson and Scott Johnston (Joanne Owens) of Lexington, MO.
He is survived by: his fiancée Monica Nevels of Warrensburg, MO; his daughter Tricia Smith (Kyle) of Farmington, MO; his stepchildren, Emily Sundquist of Warrensburg, MO, Allison Abma (Tyler) of Springfield, MO and Kayla Nevels (Riad) of Castle Rock, CO; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Wehmeyer, Lauren Smith, Brooks Abma, Brady Abma, Suhail Mansor and Yunis Mansor. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Machpelah Cemetery (900 S 20th St, Lexington, MO 64067).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to help defer funeral expenses.
