He is survived by: his uncle Ezra Barker; his aunt Emma Barker (Brown); his wife Wannetta Barker (Turner); his daughters, Melissa Hall (Jay) of Warrensburg and Amanda Singleton (Jason) of Aurora, IL; his grandchildren, Jessica Myers (Skyler), Kimberly Wells (Andrew McGarry), Alexis Singleton, Haley Singleton (Utku Apaydin), Graham Singleton and Ashford Singleton; and his great grandchild Flynn A. Myers.
Memorials may be made out to the Old Drum Animal Shelter or the Warrensburg Cats Advocates in honor of Ellis' love for cats.
