Helen Schalue Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Schalue (Warrensburg, Missouri), who passed away on July 15, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiram Walker Atherton and Helen Mae Atherton (Thompson). She is survived by: her husband Harold F. Schalue; her children, Virginia "Ginger" S. Johnson (late D. G. Johnson), Thomas "Tom" H. Schalue and Dr. Tammie K. Schalue (Brooks A. Keel); her grandchildren, Cody T. Schalue, Cheyenne K. Schalue Zeimet (Jeremy), Dustin T. Schalue, Luke W. Johnson (Janelle), Deborah "Debbie" A. Johnson and Susan J. Hagerman; her great grandchildren, Daniel S. Zeimet, Leah N. Zeimet and Katherine "Katie" S. Hagerman; and her siblings, David H. Atherton (Gloria) and Kay Killinger (late Bob Killinger).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home (617 N Maguire St, Warrensburg, MO 64093). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery (228 MO-13 Business, Warrensburg, MO 64093).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Old Drum Animal Shelter or Ascend Hospice in Sue's memory.
