We announce the death of Lena Sproat (Warrensburg, Missouri), born in Odessa, Missouri, who passed away on June 29, 2026, at the age of 89. Lena will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvis "Dutch" Morehead and Sadie Ripley Morehead; her husband Jim Sproat; and her siblings, Lloyd Morehead, Helen Shackelford and Martha Dillingham (Wayne Dillingham).

She is survived by: her sons, Roger (Babette) and Robert (Debbie); her grandchildren, Kori Christiansen (Dustin), Amanda Sproat, Jake Sproat (Samantha) and Martin Sproat; and her great grandchildren, Jase Christiansen, Cooper Christiansen and Brooks Sproat.
