She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Forrest Fickle, Sr. (Bud) and Maude Eva Reitz; her husband Bob Newman (Ward Upshaw); her grandparents, Henry and Lucy Reitz; her sister Bea; her brother-in-law Wilbur Westendorff; her sister Etta Mae; her brother-in-law Grady Upshaw; and her brother Forrest Fickle.
She is survived by: her grandson Bill; her sister-in-law Anita Fickle; her daughter Goldie; her son-in-law Bob Edwards of Warrensburg, MO; her children, Beverly Newman of Leawood, KS and Bill; and her daughter-in-law Debbie Newman of Stover, MO. She is also survived by nephews and nieces, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.
