Ronald Millstead Obituary
Ronald Lee Millstead, 39 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at his residence. Ron was born May 5, 1973 in Warrensburg, son of Jacob Lee and Marylan Fern (Weide) Millstead. He graduated from Leeton High School in 1991 and attended Central Missouri State University for two years. During his college years, he was employed at Walmart, in Warrensburg.
He was united in marriage to Christine Louise Campbell on September 26, 1999 in Warrensburg. Ron managed AutoZone for several years. In 2005, he and Christine, along with close friends, Donna and Jeramiah, started Expanding Horizons, to provide residential assistance for the disabled. In 2010, they started Horizons Rental Properties.
He was a volunteer fireman for rural Johnson Country. He was also an avid bowler and huge KC Chiefs fan, but spending time with family and friends was first and foremost to him. Survivors include his wife, Christine; two daughters: Lacy Jensen and Tessa Millstead, both of Warrensburg, MO; and his mother, Marylan Millstead of Warrensburg, MO.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jacob on November 20, 2011 and by his beloved grandmother, Fern Weide. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Ben Wilson, Associate Pastor of First Baptist Church and Steve Muse officiating. Interment will follow in Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Gandhi, Jason Scollin, Steve Muse, Connor Muse, Steven Muse, Jr. and Tim Gear. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
