He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Jones and Annabell Jones (Buckler); and his siblings, Floyd David Jones, Catherine June Jones, Gordon Dale Jones, Louanna Welch, Leroy Clarence Jones, Danny Ray Jones and Ralph Richard Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Lea Jones of Warrensburg; his children, Jeffery Samuel Jones of Kansas City, MO, Michael Roy Jones (Tiffany) of Tulsa, OK, Kelly Edward Jones (Ruby Jean) of Taiwan and Ana-Ashli (Baldwin); his grandchildren, Avery Samuel Jones, Austin Michael Jones, Ashlynn Christine Jones of Tulsa, OK, Albert Spencer Jones, Sophia Ann Marie Jones of Taiwan, Brantley Thomas Majors and Heidi Adele Majors of Springfield, MO; his siblings, Jean Newland, Terry Michael Jones, Carol Perry and John Christopher "Chris" Jones; and his niece Ruth Ann Francis. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ of Warrensburg, the Fire Fighters Association of Missouri, or the Wounded Warrior Project and left in care of Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home.
