She was predeceased by: her parents, John William and Emma Catherine Bradshaw (Wilhelm); her former spouse Russell Ward; her husband Howard Collins; her daughter Martha Neu; her grandson Kenneth Fields; her great grandchild Blakely Fields; and her siblings, John Wilhelm Bradshaw, Ralph Bradshaw, Joe Bradshaw, Claude Bradshaw, Emma Pearl Bradshaw and Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Stiles.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Smith of Burlington Kansas and Russell Ward (Diane) of Warrensburg, MO; her grandchildren, David Fields (Lori), James Neu (Johnna), Arielle Lenihan (Steven), Shara Strawder, Russell Ward III (Kristi) and Rebecca Guy (Jim); and her great grandchildren, Marley Fields, Haley Neu, Alexa Neu, Allison Guy, Addison Lenihan, Alexia Strawder and Leyton Strawder.
A memorial has been established in Maxine's name for The American Cancer Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
