He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Claunch and Hazel Claunch (Shippy); his son Mark Allen Rasa; and his siblings, Laura Jane Davis, Shirley Zeih, Betty Miller, Mary Ruth Barker, Robert, Carl Eugene, Jerry Carroll and James Claunch (Bud).
He is survived by: his wife Janet Chapman; his children, Glenda Rasa of Higginsville and Troy Claunch (Mica) of Warrensburg; his grandchildren, John Rechterman of Concordia, Charlie Scheuring of Higginsville, Gauge, Briggs, Deacon Claunch of Warrensburg and Jaimie Schreiman of Alma; his great grandchildren, Carrigan, Adrienne Rechterman and Wyatt Rechterman; his siblings, John Claunch (Judy) of Kingman and Dorothy Begemann of Lexington; and his friends, Lonnie Moore, Bill Gravely and Anthony Collins Sr..
Memorial contributions may be made to the Grover Park Baptist Church or UCM Baseball and may be left in care of the funeral home.
