He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Ridenour; his sister June; and his son-in-law David Tate. He is survived by: his children, Trudy, Rosemary and Walter; his grandchildren, Ashley, Ariel and Scott; his great grandchildren, Emery, Emmett, Elfy, Linkin, Jasper, Camille and Naomi; his sisters, Lorene, Norene, Phyllis and Marjorie; and his close friends, Jerry and Donna Royster.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home (617 N Maguire St, Warrensburg, MO 64093). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sunset Hill Cemetery (604 Colbern St, Warrensburg, MO 64093).
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Warrensburg Animal Rescue and may be left in the care of the funeral home.
