He is survived by: his parents, Jay Schmidt and Mary Ellen Schmidt; his children, Ava, Paisley, Addison, Akira and Andrew; his brothers, Douglas Smith and Jared Schmidt; his grandparents, Gerald, Mary Schmidt, David and Ollie Smith; and his nieces and nephews, Ashton, Gage, Brianna and Dominick. He is also survived by other relatives and many close family friends.
