McGuire (Ana) and Kathleen Goyette (Reid); his nieces and nephews, Lauren, Patrick McGuire, Julie Newcomer, Elizabeth Maxwell, Katie Rehmeier, Laura Mueller, Allison Moore, Caroline Shields and Chloe Goyette; his friend Lisa Ackerman; Brianna Bowles. He is also survived by his family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Don's honor can be made to the White Pass Foundation 's youth outdoor program.
