He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Herman and Anna Beatrice; his former wife Norma Halfaker; his wife Nedra Halfaker; his children, Jeffrey Halfaker, Jeff Stark and Julie Borrson; and his brothers, Tom Halfaker and Lou Halfaker.
He is survived by: his son Bret Halfaker (Sally); his grandchildren, Emily Noyes (Joshua), Carrie Altman (Aaron), Emily Hammer (Matt), Jennifer Burkett (Edward), Katherine Malloy, Ashley Arnold (Ben) and Amanda Doll (Andy); his great grandchildren, Audrey, Sabrina, Emma, Madelyn, Olivia, Shanna and Allyson; and his stepdaughters, Catherine Johnston and Rebecca Sheller (Gary). He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
