Elizabeth left this world on March 23, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice F. Schneider and Marie A. Schneider; her husband Gary Lautaret; her sisters, Jane Eggering, Sandy Griesenauer and Mary Steiner; and her brothers-in-law, Frank Ebbesmeyer, Andy Schreiner, Skip Grass and Neil Stahlschmidt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Katherine Rene Hockensmith (Josh) and Jennifer Zielke (Kevin); her grandchildren, Kayden Zielke, Kyle Zielke, Aidan Hockensmith and Carley Hockensmith; her siblings, Carol Ebbesmeyer, Cathy Schreiner, Janet Spence (Jim), Marty Schneider (Barb), Eunice Schnarre (Wayne), Chris Stahlschmidt, Grace Maher (Doug), Ted Schneider (Laura), Ann Grass, Barbie Keene (Kenny), Barry Schneider (Anita), Jim Schneider (Karen) and Greg Schneider (Debbie); and her brothers-in-law, Richard Eggering, Quentin Griesenauer and Rick Steiner. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
