We announce the death of Janice Estella McKenzie of Warrenton, Missouri, who passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 85. Janice will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband William McKenzie; her parents, Jacob Burger and Marie Palermo (Burger); her son Daniel McKenzie; her siblings, Kenneth Burger, Audrey Puhse and Jacob J. Burger; Nicholas Palermo.
She is survived by: her children, Tamura Joyce (Larry), Pamela Brown (Timothy), Kimberly Knittig (Stephen) and William N. McKenzie (Terry); her grandchildren, Delven Dickmeyer Jr. (Sabrina), Katie Gibson (Donny), Aidan Werner (Christian), Anthony Brown (Chelsea), Cory Starks, Jordan Knittig, Trevor McKenzie (Kara), Travis McKenzie, Andrew McKenzie, Jamie McKenzie and Misty Robertson; her great grandchildren, Deven, Jennifer, Kyle, Cody, Cameron, Alex, Jacob, Hunter, Karson, Gunner, Grace, Makalya and Kaitlin; and her friends, Joan Crawford, Rita Green and Betty Garrison.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to be given to the St. John's Lutheran Church in honor of Janice McKenzie.
