He is survived by: his wife Pamela; his sons, David Overfelt (Megan) of Auburn, KS and Bryan Overfelt (Jessica) of Oak Grove, MO; his siblings, Tom Overfelt of Lincoln, MO, Laura Harding (David) of Sibley, MO and Carol Sours (John) of Independence, MO; his grandchildren, Addison, Jesse, Andrew, Bryonna, Jackson, Chevy and Levi; his stepgrandchildren, Joe and Jordan; his great grandchild Joe Joe; and his father-in-law Jim Thomas.

Donations may be made in his name to the Leukemia Society or to the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP).
