He was predeceased by : his parents, Richmond Evans and Mary Evans (Haskett); and his brother Russell Evans. He is survived by : his wife Phyllis Hess; his sons, David Evans (Charlene) of Kansas City and William Grant Evans (Nancy) of Maryville; his grandchildren, Ryan David Evans (Lindsay) of Lee's Summit, Addie Kavanaugh Evans of Ft. Collins and Jamie Elizabeth Evans of Ft. Collins; his sister Sonia McHargue (J. C.); and his great grandchildren, Gavin and Bennett Evans.
