We bid farewell to William Robert Paulsen of Washburn, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 17, 2026 at the age of 73. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Paulsen and Mary Lou Paulsen (Munsell); his stepfather Bob Mathias; his in-laws, Albert and Helen Samsel (Galloway); his brothers-in-law, Larry Samsel and Ron Samsel; and his uncle Bill Munsell (Jessica Ryan).
He is survived by: his wife Mona; his sister Marie Stierle (Jim); his children, Heather Vanzandt (Clifty), Sara Burch (Adam), Jill Bray (Jesse) and Jesse Paulsen (Amber); his grandchildren, Maddie Vanzandt, Myers Burch, Lucas Paulsen, Brendyn Paulsen, Jaxon Burch, BreeAhna Paulsen, Clancy Vanzandt, Rosabelle Burch, DeShon Bray, Gunner Paulsen, Ally Ribar, Lyric Bernard, Brooklynn Slye and Caydince Deere; his first great-grandkid Lennox Paulsen (Lenny); his aunt Donna Munsell; his siblings-in-law, John Samsel, Linda Samsel and Suzy Samsel; and his friend James Rose. He is also survived by several cousins, and lots of nieces and nephews.
