It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bill Joseph Coons of Washington, Missouri, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Janet Coons; his children, Jenny Keesey of Vancouver, WA and William Coons Jr. (Moses Ruiz) of Palm Springs, CA; his grandchildren, Kate Williams of Vancouver, WA and Joseph Williams of Kansas City; his great grandchildren, Ethan Morris, Gabriella Williams, Liara Williams, James Williams and Lucas Williams; his brothers, Jack Coons and George Coons (Lana); and his sisters-in-law, Darlene Coons, Elizabeth Coons, Joan Taylor (Dennis) and Laurie Hillermann. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oltmann Funeral Home - Washington (508 E 14th St, Washington, MO 63090).
Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
