She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul A. Westermeyer and Emma Marie Westermeyer; her husband James "Coach" Scanlan; and her siblings, Richard Westermeyer, Mary Kopp, Dorothy Shields (Albert) and Patricia Russell (Jack).

She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Ann Weindel (Brian), Jayne Maureen Scanlan (Jessica) and Janel Mary Brown (Scott); her grandchildren, James Weindel, Harrison Weindel, Madeleine Brown and Jameson Brown; and her siblings-in-law, Phyllis Westermeyer and Roland Kopp. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
