We bid farewell to David Hewitt of Washington, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 19, 2025 at the age of 93. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmo Hewitt (Lorraine) and Lorraine Hewitt; his son David Hewitt, Jr.; and his siblings, Dean Hewitt, Neil Hewitt, James Hewitt and Mary Ann Null.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Hewitt (Mahew) of Washington; his daughters, Laurie Price (Adrian) of Union, Karen Wayman (Chris) of St. Louis and Susan Harmody (Matt) of Southern Pines, NC.; his brother Michael Hewitt of Rolla; his grandchildren, Willy Hewitt (Sarah), Michelle Fleer (Justin), Lauren Boever (Wesley), Cassie Price, Matthew Harmody (Mulloy), Kirsten Hogan (Tommy), Kayla Frazier (Scott) and Andrew Harmody (Lucy); and his great grandchildren, Mya, Zoë, Logan, Riley, Jackson and James. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Tunnel to Towers (t2t.org) or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
