He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Bonnie Robison and Della Wampner; and his father-in-law Robert Heimann. He is survived by: his parent Shawn McNew (Amanda); his wife Melanie McNew (Heimann) of Washington; his mother Amanda McNew of St. Clair; his siblings, Destiny Englaender (Lucas) of St. Clair, Abigail McNew (Zach Schmitt) of Union, Christopher McNew (Jayma) of St. Louis, Brayden McNew of St. Clair and Mitchell Heimann of Kansas City, MO; his grandparents, Ted, Julie O'Connor of Hillsboro and Dennis McNew of St. Clair; his mother-in-law Denise Parker of St. Charles; and his pets, Hercules, Livy, Leo, Penny and Robert Meowny, Jr.. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
He will always be remembered for his smile and willingness to go the extra mile for the people he loved, and his final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
