She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Alfermann and Clara Alfermann; her children, Diane Garbs and Roger Garbs; her siblings, Rose (Roy Miller), Francis "Sonny" (Mary Alice Alfermann), Annie (Wayne Schriewer) and Richard Alfermann; her siblings' children, Brian Schriewer, Rick Alfermann and Tammy Mahnesmith; and her in-laws, Mary Holt, Eugene Garbs, Helen Kandlbinder, Ervin Garbs, Theon Garbs, Theresa Mohesky, Lillian Bockover, Bertha Becker and Bob Garbs.
She is survived by: her husband Gustave Garbs of Washington; her children, Cynthia Philipp (Dale) of Washington, Niecey Edwards of Washington, Steve Garbs (Debbie) of Blue Springs, Lori Geise (Terry) of Shawnee, Kansas, Marlys Wilcox (Brian) of Sullivan, Claudia Garbs of Higginsville and Spencer Garbs (Cheryl) of Greenville, Illinois; her daughter-in-law Lori Garbs of Washington; her grandchildren, Nate Philipp, Liz Brueggemann, Meghan Boland, Eva Philipp, Amanda Mires, Justin Edwards, John Edwards, Leigh Garbs, Jordan Garbs, Louise Garbs, Andrew Geise, Aaron Geise, Adam Geise, Austin Geise, AnnMarie Geise, Heidi Ahmed, Lydia Stack, Clark Wilcox, Madeline Wilcox, Emily Huddleston, Nick Dyson, Morgan VanLeer, Erika Goodman, Zach Garbs and Olivia Garbs; her siblings, Dennis Alfermann (Barb) of Washington and Kathleen Eikermann (Don) of McKinney, Texas; and her siblings-in-law, Francis "Hank" Garbs of Washington and Marita Garbs of Washington. She is also survived by twenty-eight great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild.
